Templeton School

‘Form follows function’. A simple phrase that will stand the test of time.A structure that compliments the existing surroundings of Templeton School was what was required for the multifunction classroom. The response to this is evident as the new block complements what’s existing and really works with this site. The natural, free flowing forms of the entrance and roof create a welcoming street sense with maximum impact. The form of the structure has to stimulate the user of the building in an environment where development is unmistakable. The entrance challenges the user and the view shaft through the building entices them to go inwards. The colour pallet of the exterior ties the structural elements together with the existing buildings creating an overall educational experience.
